Schedule of festive services in Chernivtsi churches for Christmas.

The main churches of Chernivtsi have announced the schedule for pre-Christmas and Christmas liturgies. Traditionally, the churches will hold solemn Divine Services and display the nativity scene, or the figure of the Holy Infant. Most churches will conduct services according to the usual schedule, reported “Suspilne. Chernivtsi.”

Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary UGCC on Ruska Street, 28:

December 25

• at 7:30 there will be a morning liturgy;
• at 10:00 an archbishop liturgy will be held;
• at 18:00 an evening liturgy.

Church of the Three Saints PЦУ on Kotsiubynskyi Street, 2:

December 24

• at 16:00 the church will hold a Christmas service.

December 25

• at 6:00 – morning Divine Liturgy;
• at 9:00 – morning Divine Liturgy.

Cathedral of St. Paraskeva PЦУ on Zankovetska Street, 24:

December 25

• at 7:00 and 9:00 – morning liturgies;
• at 16:00 – service.
