Russians targeted residential buildings with drones in the Kyiv and Sumy regions.

On Tuesday, December 31, Russian military forces launched missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and Sumy regions. As a result of the enemy shelling, one woman was injured. Residential buildings were also damaged. This was reported by the press services of the Kyiv and Sumy regional military administrations.

In the Kyiv region, a private house was damaged by falling debris in one of the localities. Windows were shattered and the roof was destroyed.

“A woman born in 1975 was injured. Medical professionals diagnosed her with a concussion and acute stress reaction. Emergency services are continuing to work on documenting and eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack,” – stated the Kyiv regional military administration.

In the capital, air defense systems were also active in the morning. Preliminary reports indicated falling debris in the Darnytskyi district.

No one was injured in the attack on the Shostka community in Sumy region, but there was destruction.

“Some infrastructure facilities were destroyed. Twelve multi-story residential buildings, two educational institutions, three heating plants, a polyclinic, a dormitory, and other social facilities were damaged. Losses and damages are being assessed,” – reported the community head Mykola Noga.

We remind you that on Christmas, December 25, the Russians launched over 70 missiles and 100 drones at Ukraine. Most of the aerial targets were intercepted by air defense forces.
