On the night of Monday, February 3, Russian military forces attacked Ukraine with 71 drones. Air defense systems were operational in ten regions of the country, reported the Air Force Command.
Starting from 7:00 PM on February 2, the enemy launched 71 Shahed kamikaze drones and imitation drones from Russian regions including Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsk-Akhtarsk, and occupied Crimea.
Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and defense forces repelled the enemy's air assault.

Additionally, 25 Russian imitation drones were lost in specific locations.
Situation in affected regions
The Air Force reports that there are damages in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions due to the attack.
Cherkasy. The head of the OVA, Ihor Taburets, reported that in the Cherkasy district, debris from a drone damaged windows in four residential buildings. There were no casualties.
Kharkiv. In the village of Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv district, the roof of an educational institution was damaged due to the impact of a Shahed strike drone, said OVA head Oleg Synegubov.
Sumy. The press service of the State Emergency Service of the region reported that on the evening of February 2, enemy troops struck one of the border settlements in the Sumy district. A fire broke out in the residential sector, which was successfully extinguished.
Kyiv. Due to the fall of debris from downed drones in the Brovary district, a garage and basement were damaged. Windows were shattered, and the ceiling was affected in the building. Debris from the downed drones
was also found outside populated areas on open plots, reported the OVA.
Khmelnytskyi. Two enemy Shahed drones were shot down in the sky over the region, say the OVA. The locations of the debris are being determined.
Chernihiv. As a result of a Shahed drone strike, an agricultural facility in the village of Kostobobriv in the Semenivka community was destroyed, reports the Operational Command "North."
Due to missile and drone strikes on generation facilities and damage to the transmission system by the enemy, emergency shutdowns were implemented in the morning in Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, partially in Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, and Kyiv regions.
