On the eve of the 12th round of the Italian championship, "Roma" lost at home to "Bologna" with a score of 2:3. Following the match, the head coach of the "Wolves," Ivan Juric, was dismissed due to the team's unsatisfactory results, reports the official website of the Romans.
It’s worth noting that in September, the 49-year-old Croatian replaced Daniele De Rossi, who was asked to leave "Roma" after just four rounds of the new championship. Juric managed the team in 12 matches across all competitions, achieving four victories, one of which was against Dynamo in the Europa League (1:0).
Currently, the Romans have not yet appointed a replacement for the coach, and his successor will be announced in the coming days. Among the main candidates for the position are Roberto Mancini and Claudio Ranieri.
Additionally, due to the international break for national team matches, "Roma" will play their next game only in two weeks – on November 24, when they will face the Serie A leaders "Napoli" away.
After 12 rounds, "Roma" is ranked twelfth in the Serie A standings, having accumulated 13 points.
