Russian forces are prematurely returning their injured soldiers to units and sending them into assaults, according to British intelligence.

This is how the Russians are attempting to alleviate the burden on the military medical system.

Injured Russian servicemen are likely returning to combat missions in Ukraine with unhealed wounds, often using crutches.

This was reported by the British Ministry of Defence on Twitter, citing intelligence data.

According to intelligence sources, the 20th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation has formed assault groups from injured infantry and sent them into battle.

"There is a genuine possibility that the Russian command is directing such activity to retain personnel who would otherwise get lost in an overwhelmed medical system," the report states. Injured Russian soldiers may have been returned to their units after being prematurely discharged at the orders of their commanders.

British analysts noted that the lack of adequate medical assistance in facilities far from the front line necessitates transferring administrative and medical burdens back to military units.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that British intelligence indicated significant damage to the oil depot "Crystal" in Russia – Ukraine attacked the facility twice within a week.
