He directly contradicted the version provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense, which claimed that six missiles were fired at a facility in the Bryansk region, with five of them being shot down.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the use of ATACMS against Russian territory but did not disclose any further details.

This marks the first known instance of Ukraine employing long-range weapons since the Biden administration granted permission to use them deep into Russian territory on Sunday.
