Суд частично ограничил сброс сточных вод в реку Рось.

The Cherkasy District Administrative Court has granted the administrative claim of the State Environmental Inspection of the Central Region against the municipal enterprise of Cherkasy Oblast, which was discharging return wastewater into the Ros River in excess of the maximum allowable limits for pollutant discharges, including in terms of BOD5 and suspended solids.

The court noted the grounds for implementing response measures against the municipal enterprise by partially restricting the discharge of return water into the Ros River, exceeding the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants, and stated that the applied response measure is temporary, with the duration depending on the actual elimination of the violations identified by the municipal enterprise, which prompted the State Environmental Inspection of the Central Region to seek legal action.

Moreover, the applied response measure is also of an encouraging nature, aimed at ensuring compliance with legislation regarding the protection of water resources from pollution.
