In particular, the message discusses the salary and material support for special operations intelligence officers.

“Salaries are calculated according to a separate pay scale. They can reach up to 200,000 per month, depending on the tasks and the duration of stay in the area of combat orders. The unit also provides personnel with food, medical assistance, ammunition, and transportation while in the area,” the message states.

At the same time, intelligence representatives emphasized that most positions in Artan are combat roles. Therefore, the unit has established an effective rotation system for soldiers to recuperate after completing their tasks.

“We compensate the workload on the soldiers with regular rotations after each task. This year, the unit has expanded its personnel. Additional positions for mechanics-drivers, medics, and engineers have been created,” the unit's page reports.

Special forces also commented on the current topic of transfer possibilities. According to the published message, it is easier for civilians wishing to serve in intelligence to mobilize directly into "Artan" than to later seek a transfer to GUR from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main difficulty lies in the differing command structures, making the procedure potentially lengthy.

Previously, an officer of "Artan" with the call sign Favorit congratulated Ukrainians on the New Year and summarized the results of 2024. He stated that the unit had grown significantly throughout the year and had also managed to greatly improve the intelligence support system for operation planning. On New Year's Eve, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, recorded a message in which he personally thanked the commander of "Artan," Viktor Titan, for his effective work.
