Ukraine stands by Syria during its challenging times. 500 tons of Ukrainian wheat flour are already en route to Syria as part of the humanitarian program "Grain from Ukraine" in collaboration with the UN World Food Programme.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to him, the wheat flour is set to be distributed to 33,250 families, or 167,000 people, over the coming weeks. Each package weighs 15 kg and can feed a family of five for one month.
"We wish safety, stability, and recovery for Syria and its people. We understand the true value of these things," the president emphasized.
