The air defense forces shot down eight strike drones that the Russians used to attack Ukraine starting Sunday evening, November 17.

As per the Air Force's data, from 19:30 on Sunday, Russian troops targeted the Sumy region with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region, a Kh-59 guided air missile from the airspace of the Kursk region, and also launched 11 Shahed-type strike drones and drones of unspecified types from Kursk.
"Eight strike drones were intercepted by air defense in the Poltava, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions. Three UAVs were lost in specific locations," the report states.
