As the expert explains, U.S. National Security Advisor Sullivan, who serves under President Biden, pointed out that the issue goes beyond just weapons; Ukraine really needs to focus on enhancing mobilization efforts to improve the situation at the front.

“Well, Sullivan has followed the path of those Western partners who constantly emphasize the need to increase mobilization, mobilization processes, and often hint at lowering the mobilization age to at least 23 or 22 years, to reduce the current age of 25 by another 2-3 years to attract more young people into the army,” explains Alexander Musienko.

At the same time, President Zelensky stated, he notes, that there are no plans to lower the mobilization age, and instead, there should be an attractive bonus package developed for those aged 18-25 who want to sign a contract, making it beneficial for them. However, the expert adds, we must not forget about those of other ages who also sign contracts.

“I advocate for seeking internal reserves, increasing payments, salaries, and bonuses for our servicemen, as well as for those who wish to sign a contract, regardless of their age. The motivational component for attracting people to the army must be strong, that is for sure, and there can be no other interpretations,” concludes Alexander Musienko.
