He discussed this in his blog.

According to the expert, it appears that Trump has an obsession with meeting Putin, believing that it will instantly change the situation and they will come to an agreement. In his view, there is nothing to discuss with Putin right now, as he continues the war and keeps killing civilians, which means the U.S. is making a mistake here.

“They are asking China to influence Russia. For what? What does China gain from this? To influence Russia, to influence Putin, so that American corporations can come in and start taking control of Russian resources? No, the Chinese also want to be part of this. Therefore, something needs to be promised to China. So promise them the Far East and the Asian part of Russia; I have been saying this for a long time. This would be a very powerful motivational factor for official Beijing to act in such a way as to stop Putin and put pressure on Russia,” explains Alexander Musienko.

Thus, he emphasizes, it is better to negotiate with China against Russia than with Russia against China; this should be Trump's plan. However, the expert adds, it is necessary to dispel the myths about Russia's greatness.

“It is difficult for us to counter the narrative created by many so-called Sovietologists and other seemingly knowledgeable people, political scientists, experts, and the like about the huge contribution of Russia as the successor of the Soviet Union to the victory over Nazism. And all these myths about the invincibility of the Russian army, which are echoed by Trump and his entourage, for example. And all the other nonsense, myths, and fantasies that are produced and spread about the idea that Russia cannot be defeated,” states Alexander Musienko.

As reported by Znay.ua, Musienko stated that the world expected tough actions from Trump, that he would arm Ukraine and crash oil prices.

Znay.ua also reported that Sheitelman discussed how Trump envisions negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.
