Police have located a man who set off fireworks in Lutsk on New Year's Eve. A report has been filed against the violator, which includes a fine of up to 255 UAH. This was reported by the police press service of Volyn on January 2.
“During our monitoring of social media, we discovered a video showing the launch of a pyrotechnic device from a window of an apartment on Sobornosti Avenue in Lutsk. The police determined that this occurred on January 1 at around 2:30 AM. The violator was identified as a 34-year-old local resident,” – said police spokesperson Olga Buzuluk from the Volyn region.

The Lutsk resident received an administrative report under part 1 of Article 182 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (violating the legislation concerning the protection of the population from harmful noise or the rules for maintaining silence in populated areas and public places). The penalties stipulated by this article include a warning or fines ranging from 85 to 255 UAH.
It is important to note that during the period of martial law, the use and sale of firecrackers and fireworks in Ukraine are prohibited. Violations are subject to both administrative and criminal liability.
