The refinancing suggested by the leader of the "Fatherland" party could save around 140 billion UAH, of which at least 90 billion UAH could have been allocated to the military budget.

Therefore, by rejecting the resolution 12223 submitted by Yulia Tymoshenko, the Verkhovna Rada missed a unique opportunity to fund socially significant and critical areas for national security, believes Alexey Kusch.
