In Transcarpathia, train movement is blocked on the section between Syanoky and Mukachevo due to a train derailing. As reported on the morning of November 23 by "Ukrzaliznytsia," the electric train is obstructed because rocks fell from the mountain.

«Preliminarily, two wheelsets derailed. The train was traveling below the permitted speed, so there are no injuries. All passengers are being transported to their destinations by road», – the statement noted.

Due to this emergency situation, train routes on the Syanoky – Mukachevo section have been altered. To minimize delays, train No. 59 from Kyiv to Chop has been rerouted around this section.

A recovery crew of railway workers is working to restore train movement.
