A fatal accident occurred on the highway in Mykolaiv region, resulting in the deaths of the driver and a female passenger of a VAZ vehicle.

A fatal traffic accident occurred on the highway in the Mykolaiv region: the driver and a passenger of a "VAZ" died.

On Friday, December 27, on the M-14 highway "Odesa — Mykolaiv" near the village of Fedorivka in the Mykolaiv region, a collision took place between a VAZ-2110 and a Toyota RAV4. The driver and a passenger of the VAZ vehicle were killed and became trapped within the structural elements of the car.

This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.

On Friday, the emergency service received a report about the traffic accident at the 67 km mark of the M-14 highway "Odesa — Mykolaiv" near the village of Fedorivka in the Koblev community of the Mykolaiv district.

A duty crew from the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the collision involved a VAZ-2110 and a Toyota RAV4. As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the "Toyota RAV4" sustained injuries. The driver and passenger of the VAZ vehicle died and were trapped within the vehicle's structural elements. Rescuers used hydraulic tools to extricate the bodies of the deceased.

The circumstances of this tragedy are being investigated by specialists.
