In Ivano-Frankivsk, a cadet from the Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub has been ordered to reimburse the costs of his maintenance during his studies following his expulsion from the university. Since the cadet did not voluntarily fulfill the terms of the contract, the university pursued legal action to recover the funds.
According to the decision of the Ivano-Frankivsk District Administrative Court, which was published in the court register, Artem A. studied at the Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub from 2023 to 2024. In July 2024, his contract was terminated early, and he was expelled from the university. Under the contract, in the event of early termination, the cadet is required to reimburse the university for his maintenance costs during his studies. In this case, the amount in question is 65.6 thousand UAH in compensation. Since Artem A. did not voluntarily comply, a representative of the university filed a lawsuit.
This case was reviewed by Judge Igor Hlavach, who examined all the materials and arguments. The expelled cadet did not exercise his right to submit a response to the lawsuit. It is known that he is currently serving in the military.
The judge believes that the university's claims are justified and should be upheld. Artem A. was ordered to pay 65.6 thousand UAH to the plaintiff. The deadline for appealing the court's decision has already passed.
