A residential complex with a park-and-ride facility will be built on the outskirts of Lviv.

Near the Lviv airport, a 10-story residential and public complex will be constructed instead of a two-story parking facility. Part of the parking will operate as a park-and-ride. The relevant urban planning conditions and restrictions were presented at the meeting of the executive committee of the Lviv City Council on Friday, December 27.

This concerns the development of a plot located at 11a Truskavetska Street, covering an area of 0.6 hectares. In 2020, the executive committee issued urban planning conditions and restrictions for the construction of a two-level parking facility with integrated commercial and office spaces to the company "Ametrin". At that time, it was envisaged that the underground parking would have 148 spaces, while an additional 46 spaces were designed for the surface parking. The developer also promised to allow local residents to park their cars overnight for a fee, as the parking was previously open before the development on this site.

In 2023, at the request of "Ametrin", the city council approved a detailed plan for the area at the intersection of Kulparkivska and Truskavetska Streets, which anticipated the construction of a multi-story complex of 8-10 floors with apartments, shops, offices, and a two-level parking facility. In June 2024, the Lviv City Council's Department of Architecture considered issuing a construction permit for the residential and public complex instead of the parking facility.

The project for the 10-story residential and public complex was presented again to the executive committee on December 27. As explained by Roman Krushelnytskyi, head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, the developer provided the city council with a guarantee letter, stating that he would transfer a storage facility to the city, as well as part of the parking that will function as a park-and-ride.

The company "Ametrin" was registered in 2015 and belongs to the construction company "Eco-House". Its owners are Lviv residents Volodymyr and Ihor Artemovych.
