An illegal fuel storage facility was discovered in Lviv region, where fuel was being sold for cash.

Detectives from the Bureau of Economic Security reported suspicions against a resident who was illegally selling fuel in the Lviv region.

As reported by the Bureau on December 31, the man was illegally storing and selling fuel for cash. The counterfeit gasoline was kept in specially equipped plastic containers in rented warehouses. Moreover, the man was not officially registered as an entrepreneur and did not have the necessary permits and licenses for the sale of excise goods.

BEB detectives conducted searches, uncovering and seizing five plastic containers filled with fuel, each with a capacity of 1000 liters, three fuel pumps, and over 250,000 UAH in equivalent.
