A 92-year-old man lost his life in a fire in the Lviv region.

In Lviv region, a fire in a wooden residential house resulted in the death of the homeowner. Rescuers discovered his body while extinguishing the flames.

As reported by the State Emergency Service, a fire broke out in the wooden residential building in the village of Velykosilky on the night of December 31. The blaze destroyed the house, but rescuers managed to prevent the flames from spreading to an adjacent outbuilding.

During the firefighting efforts, the body of a 92-year-old owner was found. It was handed over to the police. The fire was extinguished at 6:54 AM.
