The Ministry of Education has revealed what equipment is being purchased for the "Defense of Ukraine" classes.

The government has allocated 1.65 billion UAH for the purchase of equipment for the school subject "Defense of Ukraine." The Ministry of Education shared what has been purchased with these funds, as reported by the Ministry of Education and Science.

The equipment is being purchased for specialized training centers, which will be equipped with modern technology to help students in grades 5-10 develop practical skills. Communities have spent nearly a third of the allocated funds for this purpose – 507 million UAH. The following items were acquired with these funds:

• 460 interactive shooting ranges;
• 2000 drone flight simulators;
• mannequins for providing first aid;
• bulletproof vests;
• helmets and gas masks;
• models of grenades, rifles, pistols, and mines, etc.

The largest amounts spent on equipment for the "Defense of Ukraine" lessons came from the following regions:

• Kyiv Region – 79.7 million UAH;
• Lviv Region – 42.9 million UAH;
• Ivano-Frankivsk Region – 42.3 million UAH;
• Zhytomyr Region – 34.3 million UAH;
• Odesa Region – 32.4 million UAH;
• Ternopil Region – 30.1 million UAH;
• Khmelnytskyi Region – 29.9 million UAH;
• Chernihiv Region – 27.5 million UAH;
• Dnipropetrovsk Region – 24.8 million UAH;
• Vinnytsia Region – 22.1 million UAH.

It is worth noting that the new program for the "Defense of Ukraine" subject was approved last year and will not differ for boys and girls. More practical skill exercises have been added to the lessons.
