The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has updated the criteria for identifying agricultural enterprises that are critical to the economy.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has approved new sectoral criteria for identifying enterprises, institutions, and organizations that are crucial for the national economy in the agricultural sector during a special period.

This is stated in order № 4282 dated December 10, 2024, reported the press service of the ministry.

To be recognized as critical, an enterprise must meet the following criteria:

• cultivates at least 500 hectares, or has an annual income of at least 20 million UAH, or the amount of personal income tax paid in the previous reporting quarter is no less than 324 thousand UAH;
• the primary activity of the enterprise falls under one of the classifications specified in the mentioned order;
• the enterprise is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy or the management of state corporate rights in the statutory capitals overseen by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy;
• 100% of the shares in the statutory capital are owned by the state, which was formed by transforming a state enterprise and conducts activities related to leasing state-owned land plots through land auctions.

The basis for making a decision on identifying an enterprise that is significant in the agricultural sector of the national economy during a special period is meeting two criteria.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that as of December 1, new criteria for reserving conscripts are in effect in Ukraine. Deferrals that were issued earlier will remain valid until the end of the term for which they were granted, but no longer than until February 28, 2025.
