The Ministry of Defense has approved new training standards for first aid for Ukrainian servicemen. As noted by the agency, these standards are based on combat experience and NATO approaches, reports UNN.
The document includes two main standards:
Training based on both standards will involve lectures with multimedia support, practical sessions in small groups, and simulation exercises in field conditions simulating combat scenarios.
Certified instructors will be required to use informative-evidence-based and explanatory-illustrative methods, as well as interactive tools, including computer technology and educational mobile applications.
Knowledge and skills will be assessed using special sheets that combine theoretical questions and practical tasks. Servicemen who demonstrate high potential may be recommended for further professional training in military medical specialties.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the implementation of these standards will ensure a high level of military training, enabling them to provide effective first aid in combat and other extreme situations, thereby preserving the lives and health of their comrades.
