According to the expert, with time still remaining before Trump's inauguration, our government needs to accomplish two tasks. The first, he explains, is to persuade Americans to provide us with the 6 billion in military aid, and the second is to try to sell Trump our perspective on how to end the war. The expert adds that Putin is also engaged in this, as he too is trying to sell his viewpoint to Trump.

“I have hope, you know, for what? Over the last three years, Putin has been completely cut off from the global context. Putin only communicates with Bangladesh and other 'rat kings', meaning the so-called global majority that doesn’t determine anything on this planet, fortunately. Therefore, it seems to me that Putin has lost touch with the Western reality; he doesn’t understand these people,” reflects Mikhail Sheitelman.

In contrast, the Ukrainian leadership, particularly the president and other representatives, the expert notes, shows that Zelensky meets with European leaders, American leaders, Australian leaders, Scandinavian leaders, and so on, every week; he knows how to communicate with them and conduct business.

“Now there are 2.5 months to sell a plan. Either it will be our victory plan sold to Trump, or it will be a plan for Ukraine's capitulation on behalf of Putin. Here’s the market, here are the two proposals,” concludes Mikhail Sheitelman.
