Nearly 12 million Ukrainians have received payments through the "Winter eSupport" program.

Over 13 million citizens have applied for financial assistance under the "Winter is Support" program, with nearly 12 million already receiving payments.

This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, during a government meeting announced.

Ukrainians primarily spend the funds from the "Winter is Support" program on utility bills – 56%, as well as on purchasing medications, books, and donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Shmyhal reminded that another program called "Affordable Subsidies" is also in operation under the "Winter Support".

Under this program, nearly 3 million families are receiving government assistance for utility payments. It is possible to apply for a subsidy in just 15 minutes, including online.

Furthermore, starting from January 29 of this year, a rental subsidy for internally displaced persons has been implemented, available to families spending more than 20% of their income on rent.

Participation in various state programs, such as "National Cashback" and "Winter is Support," does not affect the calculation of the total family income when assigning subsidies.

Background. Previously, Mind reported that since December 2024, Ukrainians have submitted 10 million applications for payments under the "Winter is Support" program via the "Dii" application. Of these, nearly 2.5 million are for child payments.
