In Lviv, the reconstruction and repair of buildings that were damaged by the Russian missile strike on September 4 is ongoing. The restoration of large facilities is funded by investors, while the restoration of windows and roofs is covered by the city budget.
During the session on December 19, Andriy Moskalenko, the first deputy mayor of Lviv, explained that the most challenging situation is with the restoration of the building at 44 Konovaltsia Street, where six people lost their lives due to the Russian shelling. The demolition of the building's hazardous parts has been completed, and it has been sealed. The city plans to finalize the project and cost documentation for the reconstruction by the end of January 2025.
In the building at 44a Konovaltsia Street, adjacent to the previous one, windows have been replaced, the roof has been restored, and damaged utilities have been replaced with funds from the ATB company. Work on restoring the facades and balconies is still ongoing, with completion expected at the beginning of January.

The building at 7 Melnyka Street, which also suffered significant damage from the shelling, will be restored with funds from the Polish government. The project documentation is currently being developed. Meanwhile, authentic windows have been replaced in the building at the investor's expense.
Regarding the restoration of buildings in the vicinity of the railway station, at 42 Mikhnovskykh Street, the OKKO company is financing the restoration of part of the building. This same investor is also funding the restoration of a partially destroyed building at 36 Mikhnovskykh Street.

“The situation here was very difficult, as a wall needed to be rebuilt due to the destruction of an entire apartment. There was also a complicated case at 41 Mikhnovskykh Street. Emergency restoration works are ongoing there, but the main part of the work has already been completed. We expect to finish within a month,” Andriy Moskalenko reported.
For the residents of building No. 18 on Mikhnovskykh Street, assistance from the city budget will be provided for interior repairs. Currently, facade restoration is underway.
