Lviv has allocated 100 million UAH for the "Warriors" project of the charity fund "Come Back Alive." This funding will be used to purchase vehicles, drones, electronic warfare systems, and other equipment for four combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, during a city council session on Tuesday, December 31.
“This is a good way to end the year. The Lviv City Council will contribute 100 million UAH from the budget to the "Warriors" collection. All funds will support our units. It’s important to note that this money comes from the residents of Lviv – everyone who pays taxes. Thus, we are closing the year with a total of 1 billion 100 million UAH allocated to the army. Thank you all,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
We remind you that the joint fundraising campaign of the city of Lviv and the "Come Back Alive" fund is ongoing. They are raising 200 million UAH to comprehensively and effectively support the four combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine currently holding the front line. This includes the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel, the 80th Separate Air Assault Galician Brigade, the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, and the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Transcarpathian Brigade. The funds will be used to purchase mortars, grenade launchers, pickups, electronic warfare systems, and quadcopters.
