A Kyiv resident driving a Chevrolet fatally struck a 64-year-old pedestrian in Lviv region.
A local resident of Trostyanets died at the scene of the accident.

In Lviv region, a Chevrolet driver struck a 64-year-old pedestrian. The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
According to reports from the police, the accident occurred on Friday, November 15, around 7:00 PM, near the village of Trostyanets in the Stryi district. A 30-year-old man from Kyiv driving the Chevrolet hit the 64-year-old pedestrian. The pedestrian died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident.
In connection with the accident, investigators have opened a criminal case under part 2 of Article 286 (violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The driver faces a prison sentence of 3 to 8 years.
