World Events

This week will see the release of several important indicators regarding the economic condition of our key foreign trade partners – the USA, Germany, and the Eurozone. The ECB (European Central Bank) meeting will be non-monetary in nature, so we do not expect any significant impact.

Monday, November 25

• Speech by ECB Chief Economist Philip Lane.
• Speech by Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel.
• Data on business climate and economic expectations in Germany. Key indicator: Ifo Business Climate, expected at 86.3.

Tuesday, November 26

• Publication of the minutes from the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting of the US Federal Reserve. The minutes provide detailed information on the positions of FOMC members regarding monetary policy, which can be valuable for predicting future decisions.
• USA: Consumer Confidence Index.
• USA: Sales of new homes.
