Ukrainian skeleton athlete Vladislav Geraskevych matched his personal best result in his career during the Skeleton World Cup stages.
At the event in Winterberg, Germany, he finished just shy of the podium, securing fourth place.
In his first run, Geraskevych achieved the third-best time among all competitors, surpassing his closest rival by 0.02 seconds. However, he was unable to maintain this position during the second run, as he was overtaken by Christopher Groetter.
Another Ukrainian, Yaroslav Lavrenyuk, ranked 31st after the first run and did not qualify for the second attempt.
