The new Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lviv will be the renowned Polish historian and literary critic Marek Radziwon [Marek Radziwon]. Marek Radziwon is a well-known historian and literary critic. He received his education at the Theatre Institute and defended his doctoral dissertation in history. Radziwon focuses on the research of modern history in Poland, Russia, and the USSR, has been the editor of several academic journals, and has written for many media outlets. From 2009 to 2014, he led the Polish Institute in Moscow. Since 2022, he has served as the president of the Polish PEN Club.
