FIFA has announced the locations for three final matches of the Intercontinental Cup (formerly known as the Club World Cup), which will determine the strongest club team in the world in 2024, as reported by the official website of the organization. As in previous years, one top club from each continent will qualify for the tournament. Europe will be represented by the current Champions League winner, "Real Madrid," which will play directly in the final (notably, Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is part of the Madrid team).
The decisive match, scheduled for December 18, will take place in Qatar at the "Lusail" Stadium. This venue hosted the final of the World Cup in 2022, where Argentina claimed the trophy by defeating France in a penalty shootout.

It is worth noting that Qatar has hosted the Club World Cup twice: in 2019, the tournament was won by the English team "Liverpool," and in 2020, it was claimed by the German "Bayern Munich." The reigning champion of the Club World Cup is "Manchester City."
In 2025, the Intercontinental Cup will be held for the first time in the USA. The tournament has been completely restructured – now 32 teams will compete, with Europe having the largest representation of 12 clubs.
