Estonia will provide Ukraine with a new military aid package.

This is reported by the Estonian Ministry of Defense.

The head of the defense ministry, Hanno Pevkur, has initiated the provision of a new aid package to Ukraine as it approaches 1000 days of Russia's full-scale invasion. The support package will include reserve equipment and ammunition from the Estonian army.

"In the near future, it will be 1000 days since Ukraine has managed to defend its freedom from an unrelenting aggressor. Ukraine still needs assistance from Estonia and the free world to protect itself," Pevkur commented.

Note. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Estonia has provided Ukraine with over 500 million euros in military aid, which is equivalent to 1.4% of the country's GDP. As part of these packages, the Ukrainian army has received Javelin anti-tank missiles, howitzers, artillery, and more.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that the European Union will conduct a joint procurement of weapons for the first time. Most of the selected projects also include defense products intended for Ukraine.
