David Moyes has been appointed as the new head coach of Everton, according to the official site of the Toffees. The 61-year-old manager from Liverpool has signed a contract that runs until June 2027. He replaces Sean Dyche, who was dismissed due to the team's unsatisfactory results.

It is worth noting that Moyes began his managerial career at English club Preston (1998-2002). He then managed Everton (2002-2013), Manchester United (2013-2014), Real Sociedad (2014-2015), Sunderland (2016-2017), and West Ham twice (2017-2018, 2019-2024).

Additionally, during his time at the London club, David worked with Ukraine national team leader Andriy Yarmolenko (the Dynamo midfielder played for the Hammers from 2018 to 2022).

Among Moyes's coaching achievements are the FA Community Shield (2013) with Manchester United and winning the UEFA Europa Conference League (2022/23) with West Ham.

After 20 rounds, Everton currently stands in sixteenth place in the Premier League table, with 17 points and a game in hand.
