The Horodotska City Council sold 64 acres of land in Horodok designated for construction at an auction via the Prozorro. Sales system at the end of December. The land was purchased for 8.601 million UAH by the Logistics Company "Zakhid Resurs," co-owned by Olha Bort, the wife of the Member of Parliament Vitaliy Bort.

The starting price for the plot intended for residential construction, agricultural buildings, and structures was set at 2.33 million UAH. The Logistics Company "Zakhid Resurs" offered just 1,000 UAH more than its closest competitor and emerged as the winner. A total of five participants took part in the bidding, with the price per acre resulting from the auction amounting to 133.6 thousand UAH or 3,178 USD based on the NBU exchange rate on the day of the auction.

The Logistics Company "Zakhid Resurs," according to data from the YouControl service, was founded nearly 16 years ago. Currently, its co-owners are Olha Voitykhivska and Olha Bort, each holding 50% of the company. The latter is the wife of MP Vitaliy Bort, who has served in the V-VII and IX convocations and hails from Donetsk. The Bort family is engaged in business within the real estate and oil and gas extraction sectors.

According to “Chesno”, Vitaliy Bort voted for the dictatorial laws on January 16 while part of the "Party of Regions" faction in 2014. He also supported the holding of a separatist referendum in Donbas in 2014. In 2010, he backed the extension of the presence of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Ukrainian Crimea. The MP's mother holds Russian citizenship.

In 2019, he became a Member of Parliament from the Opposition Platform — For Life (OPZZH), and after the party's ban, he joined the newly formed party “Platform for Life and Peace.”

Vitaliy Bort is also listed in the open register of state traitors created in 2022 by the NGO “Chesno Movement” and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. The database “DerzhZradnyky” publishes information about politicians, media figures, and law enforcement officers who have sided with the enemy during wartime. Before adding someone to this list, “Chesno Movement” collaborates with law enforcement to verify potential candidates.

In 2023, Vitaliy Bort traveled to Hungary several times, where, according to investigative journalists from the project “Skhemy”, he met with a member of the Hungarian Parliament, an associate of Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Furthermore, each time, Vitaliy Bort did not return to Ukraine within the legally specified timeframe.
