Most Ukrainians oppose holding presidential elections during wartime.

The sociological group "Rating" conducted a survey among Ukrainians regarding the appropriateness of holding elections during the full-scale invasion. According to the sociologists, the majority of respondents are categorically against it. The results of the survey were published on Thursday, November 14.

It is noted that 22% of the surveyed Ukrainians unequivocally support holding presidential elections during the war. Meanwhile, 42% of respondents are categorically against it. A further 14% are somewhat in favor, while 18% indicated they are somewhat against it.

At the same time, 28% of respondents supported holding elections to the Verkhovna Rada, while 36% stated they are definitely against it. Additionally, 18% of Ukrainians are somewhat supportive, and 16% are somewhat opposed.

Regarding local elections, 24% of Ukrainians are firmly in favor, whereas 34% are firmly against. Furthermore, 17% of respondents are somewhat against, and 21% indicated they are somewhat supportive.

The sociologists from the "Rating" group conducted the survey from September 27 to October 1. A total of 2,000 Ukrainians aged 18 and older from various regions of Ukraine, excluding temporarily occupied areas, participated in the survey. The margin of error does not exceed 2.2%.
