Earlier in Lviv region, around 800 enterprises held critical status, but 90-100 of them lost this status due to a reduction in employee salaries following the reporting period. This was shared by the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Taras Hren, as reported by LMN.
The Lviv Regional State Administration commission, which determines whether an enterprise meets the criteria for obtaining critical infrastructure status, received official data from tax authorities indicating that about 100 businesses reduced official employee salaries after achieving the desired status. Due to these manipulations, their status was revoked.
As reported by ZAXID.NET, the Lviv Regional State Administration modified additional criteria for determining a business's affiliation with critical infrastructure. Taras Hren predicts that this could further decrease the number of enterprises with critical infrastructure status in Lviv region.
“I don’t believe the indicator will change significantly, but it will decrease. In my forecasts, there will be about 500. This will not impact the economic situation in the region,” said the official.
It is worth noting that the Cabinet of Ministers has updated the criteria for classifying enterprises as critical infrastructure. The main criterion that candidates for status must meet is that the official salary of employees must be at least 20,000 UAH.
The critical infrastructure status allows businesses to submit documents for the reservation of their employees.
