Drone attack in Kyiv: casualties and injuries reported (updated).

In the morning, debris from an enemy drone fell on a residential building in the Pechersk district of Kyiv, partially destroying the top two floors and causing a fire. One person has been reported injured and has been hospitalized.

This information was provided by the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) and the capital's mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.

According to Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, there was initially a fire in a non-residential building in the Pechersk district due to the attack. All emergency services have been dispatched to the scene.

Later, it became known that there was a fire on the roof and in one of the apartments of the residential building in the same district, with one person seeking medical assistance.

Additionally, a fire has been reported in a non-residential building in the Sviatoshyn district.

“As a result of the debris falling, windows were shattered in a residential building in the Sviatoshyn district, near the garages where the fire occurred. The tram tracks were also partially damaged,” Klitschko reported.

As a result of the morning attack on the capital, two people have died, reported the mayor. Seven others have been injured: three were hospitalized, and four received assistance on-site.

Background. On the night of October 30, Russian forces launched drones at Kyiv. Air defense forces shot down all the drones. However, debris was recorded falling in the Solomianskyi district, injuring nine people.
