American actor Keith Middlebrook, known for his role as a police officer in the film "Iron Man 2," has been accused of fraud, writes the Los Angeles Times.
The 57-year-old actor was found guilty on 11 counts of wire fraud. The court also sentenced him to eight years in prison for selling counterfeit COVID medications.
It is known that in March 2020, the actor was arrested during a meeting with an alleged investor, who turned out to be an FBI agent. Keith Middlebrook was accused of selling fake medications, although the actor insisted that he had patented them and his sole aim was to help people save themselves from the coronavirus.
The actor denies all allegations against him. He stated that he had worked with lawyers and doctors to create the medication.
