On the evening of Saturday, November 23, gunfire was heard at the main railway station in Lviv. The police quickly apprehended the suspect, and there were no injuries reported. It was revealed that a 54-year-old man fired shots into the air while under the influence of alcohol.
According to ZAXID.NET, the Lviv region police reported that information about the gunfire was received around 8:00 PM.
“A man born in 1970 was detained on the platform. A Flobert revolver, from which he fired 3-4 shots into the air, was confiscated from him,” ZAXID.NET stated from the police.
The Flobert revolver is not classified as a firearm and is available for free sale. Administrative materials were drawn up against the shooter under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (hooliganism).
The operation of the station was not halted, as the hooligan was promptly detained.
