A 19-year-old driver of a passenger car died in a traffic accident near Bibrka.

According to the police in the Lviv region, around 7:30 AM in the village of Shpylychyna, a collision occurred between two cars, a Škoda and a Volkswagen, both traveling towards Lviv. The Škoda was driven by a 22-year-old resident of Lviv, while the Volkswagen was operated by a 19-year-old from one of the villages in the Lviv district.

On Friday morning, November 15, an accident occurred in the village of Shpylychyna, Bibrka community, in Lviv region, involving two cars, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old driver, while two other young men sustained injuries.

According to the Lviv police, around 7:30 AM in the village of Shpylychyna, a collision occurred between a Škoda and a Volkswagen, both heading towards Lviv. The Škoda was driven by a 22-year-old resident of Lviv, while the Volkswagen was operated by a 19-year-old from one of the villages in the Lviv district.

Fatal accident near Bibrka

As a result of the collision, the driver of the Volkswagen died at the scene, and two passengers, both 19-year-old residents of the area, suffered injuries and were hospitalized.

Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances of the fatal accident and is considering the initiation of a criminal proceeding under part 2 of article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported by ZAXID.NET from the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Assistance and Disaster Medicine, the two passengers were hospitalized at St. Luke's Hospital in Lviv with contusions and lacerations.
