Ukraine and North Macedonia have strengthened their visa-free travel arrangements for transportation.

Transportation of goods to both countries is available without special permits.

Ukraine and North Macedonia have signed a protocol to the agreement on international road transport, which allows for bilateral and transit cargo transportation without additional permits.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.

Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Oleksii Kuleba believes that by 2025, trade between the countries and the volume of road transport will increase thanks to the signing of a visa-free agreement.

He added that the "transport visa-free" regime has led to a 30% increase in the export of Ukrainian goods to North Macedonia on an annual basis.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that Ukraine is finalizing preparations for negotiations on the "industrial visa-free" agreement. According to the Prime Minister, only one legislative proposal remains to be approved, which the government plans to submit to the Verkhovna Rada in the near future.
