The British fintech company Revolut has fully launched its services in Ukraine and announced an expansion of its offerings for Ukrainian users.

This was reported on its official website.

From now on, Ukrainians can open a European account with Revolut and transfer funds between app users for free.

It is noted that Revolut has become the first international bank to allow identification and authorization in the app using "Diia".

In addition, the bank has released a new debit card called Clear Sky. Ukrainians can obtain it for free, while users in the UK and the European Economic Area can get it for a nominal donation of £5 or €5.

According to the announcement, the funds raised will be directed by Revolut to support the charity organization UK for UNHCR, which assists Ukrainian displaced persons and refugees. The bank has also committed to doubling the amount of donations collected, but not exceeding £200,000 (approximately €240,000).

Meantime, Dmitry Streltchuk, the head of new market launches at Revolut, told "Forbes Ukraine" in an interview that the company is simultaneously launching several markets alongside Ukraine – Brazil, India, and Mexico.

"In Mexico, we have already obtained a banking license. In Brazil and India, we are in a testing phase for employees. Of course, the majority of our clients are concentrated in the UK and Europe," he noted.

Streltchuk also shared details about the products that Revolut is introducing to the Ukrainian market.

According to him, more features have been added in the last two weeks of testing. The main features include opening an account in a European bank, with all transfers between users being instant and commission-free. The card issued by the bank is multi-currency, allowing the connection of over 30 currencies. In other Ukrainian banks, a separate card is required for each currency.

"There is access to SEPA, meaning that people working for foreign companies can receive payments for services rendered in foreign currency, as well as SWIFT payments. We also have a special card for children. Parents can, for example, send money to their child for completing certain tasks and generally manage their spending," said the head of new market launches at Revolut.

Moreover, there is an option to invest in cryptocurrencies. The app offers around 220 tokens, and users can buy and sell precious metals like gold and platinum.

"A physical card is available, which is delivered by 'Nova Poshta' – a provider familiar to Ukrainians," he added.
