Ukrainian long-range drones targeted an ammunition depot at the Kadamovsky military training ground in the Rostov region of Russia.

Source. This was reported on December 25 by a source in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) to the publication Kyiv Independent.

The Kadamovsky training ground, located near the city of Novocherkassk in the Rostov region, is one of the largest in Russia. According to the source, the ammunition depot was completely destroyed by SBU drones.

“The depot was used by the enemy to supply its troops in the Kramatorsk direction (Donetsk region),” the source stated.

“Currently, the Russians are facing significant logistical difficulties that are severely affecting their ability to conduct military operations,” the SBU added.

This is the latest in a series of attacks on the Rostov region reported in the past week.

Ukrainian UAVs shelled the city of Millerovo, where a military airbase is located, on the night of December 24, as reported by the local acting governor Yuri Slyusar. Additionally, on December 19, the Ukrainian Navy and SBU carried out a joint strike on the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the Rostov region.

Furthermore, today Ukrainian military officials confirmed a strike on Lgov in the Kursk region.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the location of the command post of the Russian 810th Separate Marine Brigade in the city of Lgov on the night of Wednesday, as reported by the Strategic Communications Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

On Wednesday morning, it became known that Lgov was under shelling, with destruction in the city. Acting Governor Alexander Khinshtein reported four civilian casualties.

In the statement from the Center, it was mentioned that the strike targeted the command post of the brigade, which “was located in an abandoned civilian building in the settlement of Lgov.”

“This fire strike is part of a comprehensive campaign to weaken the capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces to coordinate military operations against the people of Ukraine,” the statement said.

Background. Recently, an explosion occurred in Murmansk near the base of the Northern Fleet of Russia. There are command centers, ammunition depots, and fleet command posts located there. The distance to Ukraine is approximately 2000 km.
