E-referrals for the medical commission will be available in "Reserv+" starting in January, according to Umierov.

The Ministry of Defense is implementing a comprehensive reform of the Military Medical Commission.
Электронные направления на ВЛК станут доступны в «Резерв+» уже в январе, сообщил Умёров.

Electronic referrals for the Military Medical Commission (VLC) will be available in Reserve+ as early as January this year.

The Ministry of Defense is implementing a systematic reform of the military medical examination (VLC) in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was announced by Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, on Facebook.

He noted that the first step was to establish a regulatory framework for issuing electronic referrals for passing the VLC for those liable for military service.

“Our goal is to create a modern, transparent VLC system that minimizes corruption risks and bureaucratic obstacles. Thanks to digitalization, this process will become significantly more convenient for everyone,” the minister emphasized.

According to him, work is ongoing to develop new regulations to further simplify the procedure for both those liable for military service and military personnel.

Umerov reports that the VLC will now also consider the decisions of expert teams assessing the daily functioning of individuals, which replaced the Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) as of January 1. It is noted that the updated provisions meet modern standards and needs.

“I am convinced that these changes will help restore public trust in the VLC system, making it fair and effective,” the minister added.

Background. Earlier, Mind reported that e-referrals for the VLC in “Reserve+” would appear by the end of February 2025. Later, it will be possible to undergo the military medical commission at any healthcare facility.
