The Antimonopoly Committee has fined two companies over 100 million UAH for collusion in road repair tenders.

This refers to a dozen purchases made between 2019 and 2021.

The Antimonopoly Committee (AMCU) at its meeting on December 24 found the actions of LLC "Construction Management of Mechanization" and LLC "Bridge Construction Team No. 112" to be in violation of Ukrainian legislation on the protection of economic competition. The companies were fined a total of 106 million UAH for collusion in tenders for the capital repair of bridges and roads.

This was reported by the regulator's press service. 

The Committee determined that the companies colluded while participating in 10 procurements for services related to the capital repair and reconstruction of overpasses, bridges, and roads, conducted between 2019 and 2021 by the road services in Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Rivne, Zhytomyr regions, and the State Enterprise "Agency of Local Roads." The total amount of these procurements exceeded 600 million UAH.

According to the public procurement law, such violations may result in companies being denied participation in procurement procedures for three years.

LLC "Construction Management of Mechanization" is registered in Vinnytsia. The company rents out heavy construction equipment and performs construction and installation works for the erection of transport facilities, overpasses, ramps, and tunnels. 75% of the company is owned by Alina Yavorska, and 25% by Vladyslav Fedyk.

70% of LLC "Bridge Construction Team No. 112" is owned by LLC "Metkon Plus," while 30% belongs to Oleksandra Porozhniuk. According to calculations by Mind, in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023, the company entered the top 50 tender champions, signing contracts worth over 400 million UAH.
