The new payment announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy under the program "eSupport" will be accessible to all citizens of Ukraine, including children and those individuals who do not have smartphones and cannot apply for it through "Diia." This was reported by UNN citing the Ministry of Economy.
How people without "Diia" can receive the payment
The ministry stated that they are collaborating with "Ukrposhta" to establish a mechanism for receiving one thousand hryvnias under the "eSupport" program through the postal operator's branches.
"This is for the convenience of citizens who do not have smartphones or access to 'Diia.' Due to the war, the number of socially vulnerable citizens has increased, and the goal of the president and the government is to support every Ukrainian. It is anticipated that the mechanism of the 'eSupport' program will be universal rather than selective, allowing citizens of all categories across the country to receive the funds.", – explained the government.
How children can receive the payment
Regarding the payments under the "eSupport" program for children, it is expected that one of the parents will be able to request the payment to their account for each of their children.
The Ministry of Economy reminded that the program will come into effect on December 1, 2024. By that time, Ukrainians will be informed about the specific steps to receive the payment at "Ukrposhta" branches and how to apply for it for their children.
