In the night leading to Thursday, January 30, the Bryansk region was once again targeted by drones. A fire broke out at the oil pumping station of the "Druzhba" pipeline near the city of Novozibkov. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "South," Serhiy Bratchuk, along with pro-Russian Telegram channels.
Propagandists claim that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the oil pipeline distribution station "Druzhba" in Bryansk with two American missiles. According to their statements, there were no casualties or damage.
However, residents of the village of Mamai in the Bryansk region reported hearing a loud explosion near the oil pumping station. Residents of Klimov and Novozibkov also reported explosions and subsequent fires.
“NASA Firms confirms the strike on the oil pumping station 'Novozibkov' of the 'Druzhba' pipeline in the Bryansk region. Additionally, near Unecha, Bryansk region, another gas or oil infrastructure object is on fire,” – wrote Bratchuk.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported allegedly shooting down five drones over Russia: three drones were destroyed over the Belgorod region and two over Bryansk.
It should be noted that at the time of publishing this news, the Ukrainian General Staff had not commented on the fire at the facility in the Bryansk region of Russia.
It is worth mentioning that the oil pumping station "Novozibkov" belongs to the Russian company "Transneft," which is responsible for the transportation of oil across Russia. The station is part of the main oil pipeline "Druzhba," which facilitates the transportation of Russian oil to Belarusian refineries and its transit to Europe. Over 33 million tons of oil pass through the station annually. The last time the Russians reported an attack on the "Novozibkov" pumping station was on December 30, 2024. The facility was allegedly targeted by Ukrainian missile-drones "Peklo."
