The Security Service of Ukraine exposed a resident of Transcarpathia for sharing photos of the movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment.

A resident of the Mukachevo district is suspected of unauthorized dissemination of information regarding the movement of Ukrainian military equipment. The individual from Zakarpattia faces up to 5 years in prison.

As reported by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in the Zakarpattia region on February 12, a resident of Mukachevo was photographing the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's equipment and subsequently posting these images on social media, indicating the direction of movement and the license plates of the vehicles.

"Within just a few hours, this information became publicly available. The Security Service took comprehensive measures to protect the military equipment of Ukrainian soldiers,” the SBU stated.

The 27-year-old Zakarpattia resident has been notified of suspicion for the unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement of weapons and military supplies in Ukraine, the movement or placement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations established in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under martial law.

The materials of the case have been submitted to court. For the committed act, the suspect faces a prison sentence ranging from 3 to 5 years.
