On the night of Thursday, January 30, Russians launched 81 drones at Ukraine. The attack resulted in casualties and injuries. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The Russian military targeted Ukraine with 81 strike UAVs and various types of imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Air defense forces managed to eliminate 37 drones in the regions of Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Odesa. An additional 39 enemy drones were lost in specific locations.
As a result of the hostile attack, the regions of Chernihiv, Sumy, Odesa, and Poltava were affected.
“Industrial enterprises, private and multi-apartment buildings, and vehicles were damaged. An enemy strike UAV hit a high-rise building in Sumy. Unfortunately, there are fatalities, special services are working to mitigate the consequences, and assistance is being provided to the injured,” the report stated.
According to data from the Poltava Regional State Administration, a stable was destroyed due to the fall of a "Geran-2" drone. Fortunately, there were no injuries among people.
At dawn on January 30, the Russian army attacked the Izmail district of the Odesa region, damaging two private homes, a grain warehouse, cars, as well as a district hospital. One resident was injured.
In Sumy, a drone struck a ten-story building. As a result of the attack, four people died, and at least nine others were injured.
